Solo Versi (solo-versi.pages.dev) is a small, non-commercial hobby website that collects short nonsense voice clips from a private WhatsApp group. This page explains what data the site handles, who else is involved, and what your rights are. In this policy, "we" means lezzo uzi, the person who runs the site and is responsible for the data described here.
1. What we handle
Audio clips. The clips are voice recordings sent to a private WhatsApp group by its members. They are published only after the site owner has reviewed them. The site never shows, and we do not store next to the clips, the name or phone number of the person who sent them.
Likes. When you click the heart on a sound, we store the identifier of the sound together with a salted, one-way hash of your IP address and the time of the like. This lets us count one like per person per sound. We do not store your IP address itself, and the hash is not shown to anyone.
Contact form. If you use the contact form, we store your message and, only if you choose to give it, the email address you typed, plus a hash of your IP address used to limit spam. We use this solely to read and answer your message. Messages are deleted automatically after 90 days.
Your browser. Your browser remembers which sounds you have liked (a small entry in local storage on your device), so the heart appears filled when you come back. It never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
No accounts. The site has no registration, no login for visitors, and no analytics tools of our own.
2. Who else processes data
- Cloudflare hosts the site and delivers its pages. To do so it processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details, and uses them to keep the service secure. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
- Google Fonts. The text fonts are loaded from Google's servers, so Google receives your IP address when a page opens. See the Google Privacy Policy.
- Google AdSense serves the advertising on the site (see below).
3. Advertising and cookies
This site is set up to show ads served by Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's previous visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also find out more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, or opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies at aboutads.info.
Where the law requires it (for example for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), a consent message is shown and ads are personalised only if you agree. Any revenue from advertising goes towards funding a free festival.
4. Why we handle this data
We handle the data above to run the site and keep it working (hosting, one like per person, limiting spam), which is our legitimate interest, to answer your messages when you write to us, and, for advertising cookies, on the basis of your consent where it is required.
5. How long we keep it
- Audio clips: until they are removed, which you can ask for at any time.
- Likes: for as long as the site exists.
- Contact messages: 90 days, then deleted.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to access your data, correct it, have it deleted, restrict or object to its use, and receive a copy of it. If you recognise your own voice in a clip and want it removed, tell us and we will take it down. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; in Italy this is the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
7. Contact
Site operator: lezzo uzi. For any request about this policy or your data, including the removal of a clip, use the contact form.
8. Changes
If we change this policy, the new version will be published on this page with an updated date.
